Lindskov’s LT Ranch
Bryce Linkskov, Todd Lindskov

“Our goal is straightforward,” says Bryce Lindskov of Lindskov’s LT Ranch, Isabel, S.D. “We want to bring industry-changing genetics to our customers that will help their operations be as efficient and profitable as possible. We care about quality service and help promote our customers’ feeder cattle and replacement females through our calf buyback program. Our focus is on our customers, our cattle and our land.”
The ranch utilizes native, shortgrass pastures in an area that needs 20 to 25 acres per cow. They keep an eye forward in their genetic choices, knowing the needs of feeders, packers and consumers, while balancing the practical needs of commercial cattlemen who live in harsh environments.
Being in the High Plains of South Dakota, they also work hard to steward their land resources by planting trees, employing smart water management, and maintaining conservative grazing rates on both native and seeded pastures. The thriving wildlife populations and hunting ground complement the operation’s cow-calf and farming endeavors.
As the fourth generation on a 90+-year-old ranch, Bryce, brother Todd, and their families are building on the foundation that Les Lindskov and business partner Brent Thiel established. They acknowledge that the cow herd built the program, and they continue to select for functional, maternal females that can have live, high-performing calves year in and year out.

They host an annual bull sale the third Saturday in April, a commercial bred-heifer sale in the fall, and sell registered and commercial bred heifers by private treaty.
