Kaiser Angus
Darrell & Frina, Luke & Zoe, Dalton, & Trevor Kaiser
March 9, 2025
As the fourth generation returns, Kaiser Angus, Park, Kan., has made huge strides as a first-generation seedstock business. Both Darrell and Frina Kaiser grew up in the feedlot industry.
Careful pairing means their bulls are in the top 10th percentile of maternal traits and top 20th percentile in carcass traits.
“MaternalPlus® lets us get a better handle on the dam side, knowing that’s the foundation of the operation,” Darrell says. “We want a moderately sized calf, but at 3 months old, it’s like a stick of dynamite. You can practically see those calves grow every single day.”

The Kaiser family
The Kaisers “want to be in front of the crowd,” so they are willing to use unproven bulls, but from reputable sources. Those choices are paying off with a steadily growing commercial and seedstock customer base, including artificial insemination (AI) studs.
“We pride ourselves in standing behind our cattle. We want to do right by our customers,” Darrell emphasizes.
They host a bull sale on the first Thursday in April.
