New Year, Fresh Start

As we enter our 73rd year of our American Angus Auxiliary, I would hope that we as an organization can make you feel heard, seen and valued. We have an amazing group of Angus women this year, and we have hit the ground running.
In 1956 we gave our first $300 scholarship; since then we have given more than $440,000. We are very aware we can’t claim this milestone as our own. We know it would not be possible without the support of our Auxiliary members and American Angus Association members towards our fundraising efforts.
As we move through this year, our organization will strive to promote beef education with the All-American Certified Angus Beef Cook-off contest, encourage advocacy through our public speaking contest, and honor our exceptional showmen and skilled contest participants with our silver bowls and crystal awards.
These are just a few of our activities at the National Junior Angus Show (NJAS).
Our mission is to offer individuals interested in the welfare of the Angus breed and our youth the opportunity to work together to provide educational, promotional and social programs and activities. It takes a special group of people. It takes the Angus family.
Looking into 2025, I am excited to serve as your president. It is an honor to follow in the footsteps of some of the most amazing Angus women. We will be in Tulsa for the NJAS. Additionally, meet us in Kansas City for the Angus Convention where we will crown the 2026 Miss American Angus.
