Join our teacher pilot program!
We understand how challenging it can be to find quality, science-based resources amidst the demands of everyday life. That’s why we’ve created BEEF Academy, an easy-to-use platform and educational lessons that provide insightful and engaging content about the beef industry.
Upon completing the pilot, as detailed in the pilot application and below, educators will receive a $100 donation to the educational program of their choice (FFA chapter, local ag foundation, school classroom fund).
This unique learning platform helps students prepare for a future in the beef industry. By participating in the pilot, you and your students gain early access to online training modules, designed by industry experts including beef industry professionals, meat scientists, geneticists, animal science professors, etc., that are currently only offered to dues-paying National Junior Angus Association members.
What is BEEF Academy?
BEEF Academy currently features online modules in two topic areas: Beef Industry Segments and Beef Breeds and Genetics. Each topic contains age appropriate courses with each module requiring 10-12 minutes of seated time for the learner. When topic courses and assessment questions have been completed, the learner achieves a completion badge for the topic level.
Teachers and educators are able to assess student progress through student transcripts and reports.
