Winners Chosen at Missouri Junior Angus Preview Show
Missouri junior Angus members led 106 entries at the 2024 Missouri Junior Angus Preview Show held during the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association All-Breeds Show, June 8 in Sedalia, Mo. George Hubbard, Miami, Okla., evaluated the four bred-and-owned bulls, 64 owned females, 29 bred-and-owned females, one cow-calf pair and eight steers before naming the champions.
PBA MM Cash Man 2032 claimed the grand champion bred-and-owned bull title after first winning senior champion. Kaitlyn Burns, Bosworth, Mo., owns the September 2022 son of MES Music Man 903-650.
KEENE Dynamic 3526 was named reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull. Joseph Keene, Fulton, Mo., owns the August 2023 son of B A R Dynamic and first won intermediate champion.
Mallarie Yokley, Moundville, Mo., led MLA Proven Queen 2331 to grand champion owned female. The March 2023 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 first claimed junior champion honors.
TDFC Forever Lady 2308 won the reserve grand champion owned female title after being selected as intermediate champion. Jace Pipkin, Republic, Mo., owns the June 2023 daughter of STAG Good Times 201 ET.
Hillard/Mead Pride Ever 306 was named the grand champion bred-and-owned female after first winning junior champion. Annaliese Mead, Barnett, Mo., owns the April 2023 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838.
Burton Hulse, Hannibal, Mo., claimed reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female honors with HFF Frontier Gal 320. The September 2023 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303 first won the senior calf champion title.
Joseph Todd, Willard, Mo., showed the grand champion cow-calf pair. H S Lady Queen 56 559 is a November 2019 daughter of Baldco H/S Middle Ground 67E. A February 2024 heifer calf sired by H S North Pole 41 154 completes the winning pair.
Hesston Van Genderen, Lucerne, Mo., exhibited the grand champion steer. Wheeler Alpha 3956 is a February 2023 son of Collison Alpha 028.
Kye Lehenbauer, Palmyra, Mo., led Hunters Primo 3724 to the reserve grand champion steer title. He is an April 2023 son of Colburn Primo 5153.
